I ordered a necklace and it did eventually arrive, but it took longer than I expected. The tracking barely updated for a few days, so I had no idea what was going on. When I asked about it, the response made me feel a bit talked down to, like I should’ve just known to wait it out. The necklace itself was fine once it got here, I just wish the shipping had been quicker and the communication felt a little more helpful

The engraving came out crooked, and it really wasn’t what I asked for. I reached out to support, but they weren’t much help. On top of that, the reminder messages felt way too aggressive, which made the whole experience even more frustrating...

"Expected Better Service"
I brought my ring in for cleaning and aftercare, it felt like they just wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible. The staff didn’t really explain much, and when I got the ring back, it didn’t look all that much cleaner. Since I bought it from them, I was expecting a bit more care and attention. not the best experience.

I bought something from Michael Hill online the other day, and I had to message support because I wasn’t totally sure about the ring size. I can’t remember who I spoke to, but they were really patient with me.
I asked a couple of probably obvious questions, and they didn’t make it awkward or anything. Replies came through quickly too, which helped because I was trying to sort it out before placing the order.
Everything went through fine in the end, and I just felt like I was actually being helped instead of rushed along. I’d definitely shop with them again.

"Gift showed up way later than expected"
I ordered a gift thinking it would arrive by the date they showed, but the whole timeline got confusing fast. At one point it looked like it was supposed to be there soon, then tracking barely moved, and I wasn’t even sure if it was delayed or just not updating. I contacted support a couple times and they basically just told me to wait. It finally showed up way after I needed it, which was really frustrating. I don’t think I’ll order from them online again

The staff were friendly once they got to me, but I did end up waiting longer than I expected at the counter before anyone helped. Prices were clearly marked, which I appreciated. "Not Worth the Price"
I felt ripped off after buying from Michael Hill. The jewellery looks nice enough, but it didn’t feel anywhere near worth what I paid, even with the sale price. I later found really similar pieces elsewhere for a lot less, which was frustrating. I get that you’re probably paying extra for the brand name, but to me, the value just isn’t there. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

I bought a silver necklace from Michael Hill and I’ve been happy with it so far. It has a nice weight to it without feeling heavy, and the clasp feels sturdy, which I always notice with necklaces. I’ve worn it for a few weeks now and it still looks shiny and sits nicely with most outfits. The packaging wasn’t perfect, just a little less polished than I expected, but the necklace itself feels good quality.

I don’t hate the product, and part of me thinks it could’ve been fine, but trying to exchange it was such a hassle. They wouldn’t really help and it felt like I just kept getting excuse after excuse. I get that policies exist, but at the same time, it didn’t feel very customer-friendly.
